Air Stream Vanes
This diagram shows you how to make a Air Stream Vanes. Use a piece of cardboard from a manilla folder, and sticky-tape a washer (or a coin) to the front end. Then find the balance point by sticking a pin in until you get it right, and tie on a piece of cotton.
When you hang this, it will point to the direction the wind is coming from, but if you walk around with it in front of you, it will always point in the direction you are going.
